Arbors Care Center receives perfect report card from Dept. of Health

The New Jersey Department of Health announced that it has awarded a perfect report card—its highest recognition, to Arbors Care Center, one of the area’s leading post-hospitalization rehabilitation and sub-acute care facilities. Arbors, which was recently honored with the 2015 Best of Toms River Award in the Skilled Nursing Care Facilities category, received the highest grades for quality of life, quality of care, safety and more.

Arbors’ perfect evaluation comes after the completion of a weeklong on-site survey by the Health Department, who annually reviews compliance to the many federal and state regulations put in place to protect patients’ well-being. Nursing homes are ranked based on deficiencies, and the severity of identified problems.

Arbors Care Center Receives 2015 Best of Toms River Award

Choosing the area’s best businesses comes at the completion of a long fact-finding process. Various sources of information gathered internally by the Toms River Award Program, and provided by third parties, are analyzed before the winners in each category are chosen. With a criteria that focuses on quality, not quantity, the awards committee singles out those local companies who have achieved the highest level of success by serving the Toms River community in the most exceptional ways.

Arbors Care Center opens Pulmonary Rehab Program

Central New Jersey’s pulmonary patients and their loved ones can breath easier now that world class pulmonary care has come to their neighborhood. Arbors Care Center, one of the area’s finest post-hospital rehabilitation and sub-acute care facilities—announces the opening of a new state-of-the-art pulmonary rehabilitation program. Arbors will be accepting qualifying residents into the program from their own homes, area nursing homes, as well as local hospitals.

Located on the Manchester/Toms River border, Arbors Care Center distinguished itself by changing the lives of cardiac, geriatric, orthopedic and post-surgery patients in need of daily help and skilled nursing services in the most professional, compassionate, and local environment. Arbors Care Center appoints Dr. Akshay D. Patel, Medical Director

Arbors Care Center of Toms River, one of the area’s premier senior care and rehabilitative centers, announced it has chosen one of Ocean County’s most acclaimed senior healthcare specialists, Dr. Akshay Patel, to serve as Medical Director.
